Hafiz Nisar Ahmed Marfani’s Biography/Wiki

Hafiz Dr Nisar Ahmed Marfani (born on 6th July 1981) belongs to a religious family originally from India. His grandfather was the Khalifa of Huzur Mufti e Azam’ Hind Mufti Mustafa Raza Khan (the son of Ala Hazrat Imam e Ahle Sunnat Shah Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Fazil e Barelwi).

He did his marticulation from Progressive Model School in the year 1997.
He got his admission in Govt Delhi College as a Pre Medical Student on Naat Basis.
He began his Naat career in the year 1992 when he appeared for the first time on radio Pakistan in the programme called ‘Bacho ki Dunya’ with Munni Baji. He read his first naat here publicly as a Naat reciter and was appreciated by people all around Pakistan. He began his Hifz e Quran whilst he was at school. He successfully completed his Hifz e Quran in the year 2002 whilst doing his MBBS degree. He achieved his MBBS degree from Hamdard Medical University in the year 2005.

His first album was released in 1997 from Sonic with the name ‘Bagh e jannat’. He appeared on PTV for the first time in 1999. Whilst studying his medical degree and he would regularly be invited to recite at mehfils. He travelled to Madina-e-Munawwara in the year 2002, since then he is going every year in the blessed month of Ramadhan (which has always been the dua of his mother).
In 2005 after his completion of MBBS, he appeared on Qtv and his album was released with the name Habibi Ya Habibi and Dar e Khwaja. This album was a great success around the world and Dr Nisar Marfani became a world renowned Naat reciter after releasing the manqabat Dar e Khwaja. Thereafter, he travelled to several countries around the world including India, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, South Africa, Botswana, Mauritius, United Kingdom, Holland, Germany, Portugal, Mozambique, Malawi etc.
His last album was released in 2010 titled ‘Jashne Baharan Mil Kai Manao’.

He is known to read the beautiful poetry of Ala Hazrat as well as his spiritual master and guide Huzoor Tajush shariah Mufti Akhtar Raza Khan al-Azhari, the great grandson of Ala Hazrat.
Other poets include Maulana Jaami, Sheikh Saadi, Ameer Khusro, Khalid Mehmood Khalid Naqshbandi, Adeeb Rai Puri, Abdul sattar Niazi, Baidam Shah Warsi and others.

He currently is residing in Zimbabwe and has settled there with his wife and two children. He regularly travels to Pakistan and other parts of the world for Mehfils. His hobbies include learning & teaching the Deen, cricket, reading books (mostly medicine-related), spending quality time with family and friends. His favourite food dish is biryani.
